Emezzions CS provides residential care for young people with profound and multiple disabilities

Emezzions CS provides residential care for young people with profound and multiple disabilities, including communication difficulties, sensory impairment, complex health needs and challenging behaviour.
Residential Placements
Our comfortable mixed gender accommodation provides organised, calm and stimulating environment and consisting of three houses. They are self-contained, with a kitchen providing nutritious meals, a dining room, lounge, bathroom and individual bedrooms.
Our houses accommodate four young people and other house accommodates three. The four bedded house is accessible for young people with very little or no mobility with complex health needs and is equipped with an emergency call system, overhead tracking hoists, large bathrooms with adjustable baths, bedrooms with fully adjustable beds and fully equipped communal areas. The young people have access to Emezzions CS’ sensory room, a soft play room and beautiful gardens.
Committed residential care team
At Emezzions CS quality, reliability and consistency of staff is paramount. All staff have DBS checks and undergo a comprehensive induction procedure, training programme, supervision, appraisals and are supported by colleagues and line managers at all times.

We are also able to offer a number of highly specialised therapeutic services through partnerships, including Barnardo’s in-house therapeutic provision. Examples include:
- The Good Lives Model, which has been specifically designed to support young people who exhibit sexually harmful behaviours and females who are considered at risk of CSE
- The CSSO Model (Child Directed, Systems Focused, Strengths Based, Outcome Informed)

Who can we support?
We are able to support young people from the ages of 5 years old and up to their 18th birthday, who may present with a range of complex social, emotional, educational and behavioural needs. These may include the following:
- Social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
- Sexually harmful behaviour and risk of offending
- Risk of child sexual exploitation (CSE)
Evidence-based therapeutic input
Some of our homes also offer evidence-based therapeutic input, either within the home itself or within a relevant educational environment. We understand that no two children are alike and as such, all of our solutions are child-centred and completely bespoke to the unique needs of each young person in our care.
We are also able to offer a number of highly specialised therapeutic services through partnerships, including Barnardo’s in-house therapeutic provision.

Our residential children’s homes have been specifically designed to be homely, comfortable and welcoming, enabling the young people in our care to feel safe and looked after. We offer everything that you’d expect to find in a modern family home, balanced alongside relevant modifications, enabling us to provide the best care for individuals’ needs.
Dedicated and highly skilled teams
Our multidisciplinary teams are made up of highly skilled and experienced individuals, all of whom are committed to caring for and improving the lives of young people.
Our fully trained and experienced residential support workers and seniors ensure that all homes maintain a broad and diverse staffing in terms of gender, ethnicity, age and background. All staff are skilled and experienced within their role and professional background, and undergo a rigorous recruitment process as part of Safer Recruitment.
